Why don't I see a payment option for gift certificate in checkout.
A gift certificate can only be purchased with credit card so if you have Direct Deposit, COD and/or Offline Credit Card purchasing options with NO live / real-time Credit Card Payment option, NO payment option will show with gift certificate in shopping cart. The reason the system is structured this way is to prevent gift certificates automatically being used as cash value in store prior to merchant receiving payment.
