Remove references to https and replace them with http can offer a temporary solution, however, this may still mean some customers can't see images on secure pages.
The best solution it to place the link as a relative link. This means that you remove any reference to you domain name. So your image link should NOT look like this: https://mydomain.com/resources/1/11111/Image/myimage.jpg , it SHOULD look like /resources/1/11111/Image/myimage.jpg
