When adding product images to your store, the system will automatically resize them according to the specifications in your store settings. There are a few things to note in making sure your images are the best they can be.
1. The best images to use in your store are .jpg format. These tend to resize more smoothly than others.
2. Make sure your images are larger than 250 pixels wide and high since this is the default size of the image displayed on the detailed product page. If you upload a smaller image then it will be upsized making it blurry or "pixilated"
3. You can upload the exact size images matching your store settings preventing any system resize. This will show your images just as they appear on your computer desktop.
