When are sales recorded in my Metrics data?

Sales results are sent to Google Analytics as soon as the customer returns to the payment success page after finalising a purchase. Google then takes some time to display that data. If an order is cancelled, those results are removed from your metrics. This assumes:

a) You have set up Google Analytics correctly
b) The customer is directed to the 'Payment Success' page that you have set up after a payment is successful.
c) Your customer has not opted out of tracking

Remember, sales figures are always recorded in Orders>Order Reports.
