Conditional emails is used for newsletters or other emails being sent out regularly based on a trigger or event. e.g. an order or member signup.
Campaign Title
This is the reference name you have given each newsletter. Recipients will not see this name.
Status
- ONLINE - Currently able to send this campaign when triggered according to your following settings.
- OFFLINE - Currently not able to send.
From Name
This is the display name that will appear to recipients when they view your newsletter from their inbox.
Reply Email
Enter your email address that you want any replies delivered to. This will also display to recipients.
Condition
Start by selecting the time after trigger or event that you would like this campaign sent.
Depending on your recipient list selection, you will have different trigger or event options appear here. (If you don't see one of the options below, then it doesn't relate to the selected list.
- Signed Up - This relates to when a person first created an account by signing in to your shop.
- Subscribed to Newsletter - This relates to when a person first subscribes to your newsletter list when creating a member registration from the members page or the checkout.
- Every Order is placed - This relates to when a person creates an order in the checkout. So if, for example, you set you condition to 1 week after Every Order is placed and a customer places an order on a Sunday and an additional one on the Monday, your customer will receive an email one week later for both orders, on the Sunday and on the Monday
- Final Order is placed -This relates to when a person creates an order in the checkout. So if, for example, you set you condition to 1 week after Final Order is placed and a customer places an order on a Sunday and an additional one on the Monday, your customer will receive an email one week later on the Monday only.
- Every Order is shipped - This relates to when you move an item to shipped in your order detail or orders grid page. So if, for example, you set you condition to 1 week after Every Order is shipped and you move an order to shipped on a Sunday and an additional one on the Monday, your customer will receive an email one week later for both shipped orders, on the Sunday and on the Monday.
- Final Order is shipped - This relates to when you move an item to shipped in your order detail or orders grid page. So if, for example, you set you condition to 1 week after Final Order is shipped and you move an order to shipped on a Sunday and an additional one on the Monday, your customer will receive an email one week later on the Monday only.
- Basket is Abandoned - This relates to when a customer signs in to the shop and fails to go through with an order completion.
- Testimonial Approved - This relates to when a you Enable a testimonial on your site via the Content>Testimonials area in your Ashop Administration panel. You can use this to provide thankyou's / Incentives
Subject
The contents of this field will appear in the subject line of the recipients email. It will also be used for posts to Twitter and Facebook if selected.

"Dynamic content" refers to a code that will feed real and unique information from your store. This means you can set up automated campaigns to send to a customer based on the conditions above
Start by selecting the dynamic code you wish to use.It will then place a unique code to your newsletter which you can move to anywhere you feel it will look best.
Use the Send Test Email to see what it really looks like including the real information from the code you placed.
Message Body
This section is used to create the actual newsletter which will appear to the recipients of your mailing list selected.
This section uses the WYSIWYG editor allowing 100% customization. However you must upload all your images to this newsletter if it is the send correctly. You cannot simply copy and paste to this editor.
Save Buttons
Saving this campaign will set your campaign live as long as you have it set as ONLINE. When the campaign is triggered by an event like an order, it will automatically send to the recipient based on the conditions you have set..
