Different VAT rates...

Hi There

How do I setup different VAT rates in my store? For example, Solgar Vitamins & Minerals prices are inclusive of 20% VAT. However, things like Green Tea are zero rated VAT so the prices have no VAT on them at all.

I hope this facility is available as we have big problems!

Regards.

Hi Paul,

You can go to Settings> Tax Editor, Domestic Tax and add the tax details for the 20% VAT and save.

Then for the individual products with 0% tax, go to Inventory, Products, click on the individual products with no tax and tick the Tax Free Products tick box and save.

Excellent thanks you. But I have an added complication!

We bundle packs together on special discounted bundles which contain taxable and zero rated items. For example:-

1 x Solgar Vitamins and minerals (Includes tax)
1 x Alvita Green Tea (No Tax)

So the combined tax for the two items would include both taxable and non taxable. How could I do that please?

Hi Paul,

Unfortunately our system is not set up to do what you have requested and it would be too complicated to implement.
