The webspace provided in our plans is generally more than a store will need. Generally speaking, a single product on your store might have a generous four main images at 100kb. This image would fill a standard laptop screen. So the calculation is;
4 images x 100kb = 400kb
400kb x 100 products = 40MB
Our Starter plan provides 50MB, leaving you 10MB spare.
Webspace can be used an any part of your store e.g. uploading images to your design, custom pages or products.
If you choose to purchase additional products without changing plans; For every 250 products that you purchase for your store, you get 100MB of webspace. (400kb per product). You may use this space for product images or any other part of your store as mentioned above.
If you exceed your webspace limit before you use up your product quota, you can also buy webspace separately from your "My Account" page in your admin.
Higher level plans such as the 'Advance' provides 1GB and 2000 products. The calculation is as follows;
2000 products x 400kb each = 800MB
leaving you 200MB spare to use any wear else on your store.
